Trend Micro has listed common surfing habits and identified Web security holes, knowledge of which would safeguard unassuming Web users from uncalled for Web threats.
The common surfing habits that lead to Web attacks, according to Trend Micro, include: leaving return messages in blogs, surfing the hottest profile introduction on friendship Web sites, sharing secrets with other Internet users, visiting the hottest Web sites everyday, and checking out pop-up windows.
Trend Micro says that most of the sites that appear normal may be the ones hijacked by malicious code. Most anti-virus and anti-hacking solutions offer only passive defense against known Web threats, and that it's the precautionary measures that help users remain protected from Web malwares.

McAfee site advisor software also warns you if you are surfing on those dangerous sites. They give feedback report of the site being surfed, & it really helped me to exit from the sites immediately.
