Transcend, pioneers in the development of high capacity external storage devices, has announced its new series of StoreJet 2.5 HDD, 'StoreJet 2.5 SATA.'
Transcend Information, one of the pioneers in the development of high capacity external storage devices, has announced its new series of StoreJet 2.5 HDD, called the 'StoreJet 2.5 SATA.'
The company said that the StoreJet 2.5 SATA uses a stylishly designed aluminum case to house a newer 2.5-inch SATA Hard Drive.
Transcend also said that the advantage of choosing a StoreJet 2.5 as the mass storage device is that users can purchase an IDE/SATA StoreJet 2.5 enclosure into which they can install their own 2.5-inch hard drive.
The StoreJet 2.5 SATA is a compact external hard disk that fits in the palm of the hand and can hold up to 120GB of storage capacity. It is also fully compliant with the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 that acts as the perfect data management system for uploading, downloading, storing, transferring, and backing up any vital data and information that includes media-rich content like movies, photos, music, and games.
The sleek StoreJet 2.5 SATA is available in a range of colorful, polished aluminum cases, including Red, Blue, Silver, and Titanium colors, which are lightweight and specially designed for convenience and ultra-portability.
The series of StoreJet 2.5 SATA comes with a very useful application, the StoreJet elite software package, which the company claims will take all the hassles out of the storage and backups.
Compatible for use with Windows 98SE/2000/Me/XP, Mac OS 9.x/OS X, and Linux Kernel 2.4, or later, the StoreJet 2.5 SATA is the perfect external data storage solution that can help users manage, organize, and take control of the digital world.
Besides, it has easy plug and play installation, Hi-speed data transfer rates up to 480Mbits (60MB) per second, and OneTouch Auto-Backup function. The StoreJet 2.5 SATA also has LED that indicates Power ON and data transfer activity and is driverless as only Windows 98SE needs the enclosed driver.
Meanwhile, the series of the StoreJet 2.5 SATA will be available by next weekend in India. The models are priced as - TS0GSJ25R-S, TS0GSJ25B-S, TS0GSJ25S-S for Rs.1200, TS80GSJ25S-S for Rs.6,500, and TS120GSJ25T-S for Rs. 8,500.
