The new graphics card is based on Nvidia's Gen-Next G86 architecture, and dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations.

Abacus Peripherals has launched the latest model Sparkle GeForce 8400 GS graphics card with 512MB video memory.

The new graphics card is based on Nvidia's Gen-Next G86 architecture, and dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations to deliver up to 2x the gaming performance of previous generation GPUs.

The card is built on technologies such as Nvidia Lumenex Engine that provides support for DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0, Nvidia Quantum Effects for physics computation, and GigaThread technology for extreme processing efficiency in advanced shader programs.

The company claims the Sparkle GeForce 8400 GS 512MB graphics card is capable of delivering much better DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 image quality as compared to ordinary GeForce 8400 GS 256MB graphics cards on the market.

The GeForce 8400 GS 512MB features 450MHz core speed, and integrates a second-generation video-processing engine into its GPU to deliver high quality HD DVD and Blu-ray playback on entry-level PCs.

According to the company, the card takes on all of the H.264 HD video decoding, freeing the CPU to perform other tasks, thus reducing power consumption, heat, and noise significantly.
