SoundUnwound has information on music, and works on the Wikipedia principle, which means anyone can edit the info on the SoundUnwound pages.

Well, if this kind of trivia interests you, Amazon and IMDb's new music website SoundUnwound (Beta) would definitely interest you. The site has information on music - from artists, releases, record labels, and genres.
Released on 1st September, the site works on the Wikipedia principle, which means anyone can edit the info on the SoundUnwound pages.
To enable navigation through the humongous music data, Sound Unwound has been divided between artists - band memberships, family, shared credit, etc. Using this site, users can also visualize timelines for artists with an interactive discography.
Along with this, users can also avail news on new artists, new releases through photos, videos and music clips, as well as their Amazon purchase data.
