Soon: Flash on iPhone?

You've dreamed of using the Flash Player on the iPhone for a long time now. It may be a reality soon.
The iPhone users are a yearning bunch. They can't do a lot with the iPhone, yet they can't live without the device, swiping and pinching their way over the past months in the hope that one day Apple will embrace applications that humans are so used to.
One such application is Adobe's Flash, which the iPhone doesn't support yet. Chatter about Apple adopting the Flash Player has been floating about for months. It is only recently, at the Flash On The Beach (FOTB) conference in Brighton to be precise, that the great Apple adoption of Flash seems closer to being legitimate.
Reportedly, senior director of engineering at Adobe Systems Paul Betlem has corroborated that Adobe is working on developing a Flash Player for the iPhone. At the same time, he says that it is not in their (Adobe's) hands as to when will it be available on the iPhone.
Some say that that the iPhone does not support apps like Flash because of hardware issues. According to sources, this is absolutely untrue. Your iPhone doesn't support the Flash Player simply because Apple is a control-freak.
Here's hoping that Apple-Adobe business negotiations get through soon so that you iPhone fans get to watch YouTube video-clips on Safari.
