Sony has introduced its new Xplod CDX-GT45IP CD receiver, featuring the capability of supporting a wide range of auxiliary devices.
The features include a made-for-iPod hardwired dedicated input cable that charges the device and provides full menu control for most iPod models. All the iPod track data is displayed on the head unit's LCD display, while the player is charged.
The CDX-GT45IP player also provides a front panel auxiliary input for the connection of a MP3, mini-disc or cassette player. According to Sony, the head units enhance the sound quality of compressed audio files such as MP3, WMA and AAC files.
