Newer mobile devices aren't at all new to the fast-paced world of technology. But Sony has gone a step further -- in launching the first tiny mobile televisions. The flip side though is -- they'll be available only in Japan.
Of the two tiny televisions launched, the XDV-D500 sports a small 3-inches screen, and uses Sony Bravia technology to showcase moving pictures niftily.
The Bravia XDV-D500 features a 3-inches big, 432 x 240 pixels resolution display with 160-degrees viewing angle; 500:1 contrast ratio; and battery promising up to 8-hours TV reception.
The tiny new Bravia can record up to ten hours of scheduled programming to 2GB internal memory, and has AM/FM Radio as well.
The other tiny television, the XDV-G200, does not feature Sony's Bravia technology. It sports a 2-inches LCD display and has AM/FM Radio.
Both the XDV-D500 and the XDV-G200 will be available exclusively in Japan on April 10th this year. The XDV-D500 will come for around 38,000 Yen ($355) while the XDV-G200 will be priced at about $280.
As both televisions are slated to be available only in Japan, they will receive digital 1Seg TV.
