Sony PSP gets Firmware 5.51

Will improve system software stability

Sony's PlayStation Portable will get a firmware update version 5.51 for 'system software' stability. We wonder if there would be any features added in the current generation PSP models (1000 to 3000).

Eric Lempel, director of Sony's PlayStation Network operations, stated on the official PlayStation blog that the new firmware will improve system software stability while using certain features in PSP.

Well, this update might please few PSP owners who complain about system stability issues. However, a large mass of PSP fanboys and even fangirls demand for new features and certain basic ones like updating to Flash Player 10, WPA2 Security Support, Trophy Support and others.

We'll wait for the update to see if there are any hidden features or enhancement.
