A comprehensive first look at the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1
Ever since Sony Ericsson announced their first Windows Mobile-powered handset -- the Xperia X1 -- we have been waiting for the device to step out of the Internet and into our longing hands. Well, we bring you some more tele-longing (yes, we just made that word up) as (Romanian?) website SM@PE brings us an exhaustive look at the X1.
The website has compared the X1 to its nearest competitor -- the HTC Touch Pro and has come away impressed with the X1's build quality, features, and battery life; but disappointed at its price (770 euros/Rs. 50,000, aka the iPhone 3G looks cheap in comparison).

aha...now here is d phone i have been waitin for long....iPhone 3g does look cheap infront of this phone but does it even have half d functionalities this phone has????( to start wid it should easily have copy paste option) M waitin for a full review n i won be surprised 2 find out dat this 1z d best

When I compare sony x1 with P1, in sony's website only, I found following missing in x1. 1. Contacts, 2. Timer 3. Stop-watch 4. Sound Recorder.

Do not worry!!! There are insane's who will buy this phone. This nothing in compared to person who purchased Hutch (Vodafone) number ( only number and no phone) by paying lakhs. Even people are buying iPhone, when they know that is costlier in comparison to price offered in U.S. Also, when author said "cheap", he referred it price wise not the other way (atleast I belive so).

at that price only insane will buy it. there are number of far cheaper phones with slider keyboard are available.

if it is priced at 50 k its too much not worth it at all. The features are amazing but then again not worth paying 50k for those features.
