Sony Ericsson T700 Announced

A mid-range phone, the sleek and shiny T700 is impressive in terms of price point and form factor, but is not high on any new functionality.
Sony has announced the new slim phone, the Sony Ericsson T700. At a thickness of 10mm, the phone falls into the sleek and slim category, which includes Motorola L6 and L7 as well as Nokia 6300 and 5310 Xpress Music.
Packed with moderate features, T700 bears a faint resemblance with the T650 in the T-Series phones. Touted as a mid-range phone, the sleek and shiny T700 is impressive in terms of price point and form factor, although it s not high on any new functionality.
The 3.2 megapixel camera allows has self-portrait mirror options, which allows the more narcissistic users to click themselves. But T700 with the 3.2 megapixel camera fails to impress as it lacks the Auto Focus feature. The phone also sports built-in stereo speakers, which can t be compared to the Walkman series phones. The best part of the deal for consumers is that this mid-range phone supports EDGE, UMTS and single-band HSDPA for data connectivity.
Sony Ericsson T700 will hit the selected markets in Q4 this year at an estimated retail price of less than 200 with black on silver, black on red and shining silver panel color options.

looks stunning if tis a sub 10k phone! cant see video call camera or does it have one? curse you s/e for continuing to use m2 ,now that would surely be a deal breaker when i will upgrade. a really good alternative will be samsung soulb u800. it has a whopping 1gb onboard mem with microsd expanson upto 8gb. other specs also goes same. samsung is 10k,how bout s/e? cant decide between the two

I would like to buy sony ericsson T700. How is the battery backup in this model and how is the other features. How is the reception/sound/picture quality in this model. And also let me know,whether this is better than Sony Ericsson K530i
