Google's Nexus One, which is on sale in select countries of the world, might be launched in India too in the near future. Good news? Well certainly! But there is a catch.
We are hearing increasing reports of a "scaled down" Nexus One being considered for developing markets and that this is the version of Google Nexus One that will eventually land here officially. That said, you could always import one should you prefer the "original" Nexus One. Coming back to the scaled down Nexus One, it will be slimmer than the current Nexus One (which is already quite thin!) and will pack in lesser features when compared with its better endowed variant. The reduction of features will also mean a cut in the prices. This Nexus One is likely to be priced very less as compared to the original. Also Read:Nexus One Review
What we are unsure of as of now is whether this Nexus One would be a completely new phone or just a stripped down barebones version of the original with a few chips missing. We believe even the cheaper Nexus One will boast of the main features of the phone namely, the 3.7-inch screen and the uber fast Snapdragon processor. The things that might see a compromise would be the camera and other features like Internal memory. These are just speculations and we'd soon be informed how different this "poor man's Nexus One" turns out to be.

Don't buy and use GOOGLE stuff. They log user data every where in everything and in which ever way they like to. Later thay compromise personal info for their own benifit. Ever thought , why do we get truck loads of spam in our gmail account compared to other mail accounts ???
dude i been using g1, mytouch, and currently the nexus one and I never had spam email on my gmail. I don't know where you gave up your info cause it was definitely not google.
1-2k. Dude that's way too cheap "torch" mobiles you're talking about (pardon me for my arrogance :-P) This's a 3.7 inch snapdragon processor Google Nexus One. "Cheap" meaning in terms with Apple 3gs, blackberry's & some Sony's high-end models..
the htc desire is the same on specs as the google one.
HTC manufactured the nexus one for google so the HTC sence is missing on the nexus one.
But since the desire is a propritary HTC product, it come's wid goodies like HTC sence, more RAM and hence it is better than the nexus one.
I totally agree that the nexus one is much much better than the crappy iphone.
hell ya we need to learn English from people who don't even know what windows means ( os ) when they are asked to operate and they go on and open all the windows they have in there house
Im sure that google will remove the 1 GHz snapdragon from this thing and make it a miserable slow device.....Way to go google for making a fone for the ppl!!!!
