Sify provides Bangalore with broadband access from 120 locations

Sify Limited, India's premier Internet, networking and eCommerce services company, has WiFi enabled Bangalore city with broadband connectivity from over 120 hotspots.
These cover locations like the Vidhana Soudha, the IIM Bangalore, The Park, The Atria, The Grand Ashok, the ITPL, the Manipal Centre, the KGA Club House, The Club, Casa Piccola chain of restaurants, TGIF, the Java City chain of coffee shops, 100 Foot Boutique Restaurant, Tandoor and iWay cyber cafes - making Bangalore India's first WiFi enabled city.
Sify chose Bangalore for the launch of WiFi services given its lap top population, familiarity with working online, as well as international visitors needing such services while moving around the city.

Sify's WiZones provide broadband connectivity that is reliable, fast (up to 384 Kbps), scalable and secure so that business communications can be done with confidence.
Prepaid cards can be bought online at www.sifymall.com and used with a WiFi enabled laptop (Centrino or with a WiFi card). Sify WiZone users can use their accounts across any Sify WiZone hotspot in India. The BroadBand connectivity in Bangalore Sucks. I happen to put up in BTM Layout near Jayadeve Hospital,Calledup Airtel Ports not free. Called up Tata BB services and waited for 15 Days and then they said that ports not free. BSNL out of criteria ( Apply phone line and wait for the DSL link , Give me a break guys are we in 1990s???), Sify provides an alien login and password mechanism, As I use FreeBSD and Linux thats out of criteria ( And I dont enjoy using M$ Windows and run AV and share my expensive CPU and memory with an av scanner and neither have time to clean the viri up ). So.. Any luck for you guys ??.. Do let me know. I can be reached at 9901700439

Hi, I am not having problem with my Sify broad connection in Banashankari 3rd stage (Near Bajaj Popular show room) since 4-5 days. No one is responding when I complained. More often we are having these problems. Sify service is very poor. I am thinking to go to consumer court. Sify is working like a Government Org, As if they are doing cherity work!

The service of sify broad band is very bad. i have taken my connection of sify but the hub of my connection is in a net caffe near to my home and the net person always switch of my connection. Regarding this i complain to cable operator but he is not hearing me so if my service not become good then in next month i will left sify account.my mob no is 9986060833. and the address is (C/o C.T.
