However, the Agarwals cannot use the term "Scrabulous" in any of their products and have made important changes to the game

We all know that Scrabulous, the creation of Calcutta-based Agarwal brothers, has gone through a series of ups and downs. However, Scrabulous developers can now heave a sigh on relief.

Bringing respite to the Agarwal kin, comes the news that Hasbro has dropped its lawsuit against the developers Jayant and Rajat Agarwal.

It was in July that the developers of the Scrabulous application on Facebook were sued by Hasbro, which owns the rights to Scrabble in North America. Hasbro had also sent a legal notice to Facebook asking them to block the game.

However, the Agarwals cannot use the term "Scrabulous" in any of their products. They have also made noteworthy changes to the game which is now online with another name Wordscraper on the Facebook network.
