Samsung i740 Officially Launched

The Samsung i740 comes with an impressive package, but offers no 3G connectivity.
After much speculation, Samsung has finally launched its Windows Mobile 6.1 GPS enabled 2.5G smartphone, the i740. Except for the lack of 3G connectivity, the phone comes with an impressive package including a 3.2 MP camera with auto focus, built-in GPS sensor, and optical joystick.
The Samsung i740 will sell for 285 Euro or $450 but is currently available in Ukraine only.

This is completely ridiculous. A WM phone like this requires 3G support. Data speed on EDGE network is woefully slow and a PDA phone like this needs data connectivity.
