It was not long ago when Samsung gave us some sneak preview in to its very own smartphone OS, the rather oddly named Bada. Now, we have the first handset based on the OS readied by Samsung. Although images of the phone have not been revealed yet, the model number and the specs of the upcoming device has been revealed by Eldar Murtazin of Mobile Review.

The first device based on the Bada OS would be the Bada S8200 which is set to sport a 3.7 AMOLED screen. It will also be powered by the now popular Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that powers the likes of the Nexus One and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. Apar from the S8200, Samsung is also readying its Android based device, the Galaxy2. Both the handsets will also feature HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 5MP autofocus cameras.

The Bada based S8200 will be priced at around $575 (Rs. 27,000 approx.). As for the Samsung Galaxy2, this will be a bit more expensive at $645 (Rs. 30,000 approx.)
