Reliance Makes State Calls Local

RIM has made calls in Maharashtra, Goa, West Bengal, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu local.
Reliance IndiaMobile has rationalized its tariff structures in line with the recent Department of Telecommunications (DoT) circular.
According to this, subscribers in the states of Maharashtra, Goa, West Bengal, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will get a value proposition in tariff, as the company has made calls in these states local.
All calls from Reliance India Mobile to any mobile within these areas will now be treated as local calls. Also, Reliance subscribers using the Rs 440 or Rs 220 vouchers can now make unlimited calls to any other Reliance Mobile between Mumbai - Rest of Maharashtra - Goa, Chennai - Rest of Tamil Nadu, UP (E) - UP (W) and Kolkata - West Bengal - Andamans.
As per the new 'One-State-One-Rate-Plan' applicable from June 20, RIM Pre-paid subscribers of these circles moving to the adjacent circle (but part of the same state) do not have to pay for incoming calls at all. Incoming calls while roaming within these locations were earlier charged at Rs 1.79/min.
The new postpaid plans in these circles come into force with effect from 28 June 2005. As a result, subscribers of Joy 149 Postpaid plan in these areas who have been paying Rs 2.49 per minute for calls from Reliance to other mobiles will now be paying Rs 1.79. Calls from Reliance-to-Reliance mobile will now be charged a reduced tariff of Rs 99 paise, against the previous tariff of Rs 1.79.
With this change, customers would have not have to pay for incoming calls when they roam between these circles. There is, however, no change in the calls from Reliance mobiles to all fixed line phones.

No, this is not possible. But only balance amount(for Pre-paid) can be recover if lost time is your last call. For this, you have to issue same number through cell provider through proper application.

Dear if you are having imei code than it's possible to search your mobile. You have to make FIR with your mobile model S.no. & IMI no & give one copy to Airtel Hutch or other mobile opretor, they can check in software and match IMEI no & sim sr. no. It's very help full. I also lost me cell & I got the cell after 20-22 days by this process only.

sir to get the same no along with the balance u have make an f.i.r in the local police station and then submit a copy of the f.i.r along with the subscriber enrolment form which u have got wen taking connection and ur proof of identity to the local service provider.it will cost rs 165 and u will get the balance u have in ur ac.thank u.

when you brought the connection, the reseller give you a green peaper copy with your Photo. Go to the reseller and show him the peaper with a application and you can get a new sim with privious number and balence. If possible drop a FIR to your nearest police station.

reliance has withdrawn its Rs. 770 plan. We purchased that set just for this scheme to have unlimited talktime. Local web world says this phone can be surrendered but with no refund. Is there any other scheme? Why refund is not being made to thusands of users under this plan.

I have Reliance Smart Mobile connection. Can you please let me know the difference between RIM & SMART of Reliance. Is there any rate difference. I am in Madhya Pradesh. Can I use this mobile (with SMART connection)when i go to my native place at Kerala. I tried to use this number in Kerala but I could not to speak. What is the reason. With Top Up Voucher, they say that the cost is more cheaper. They say within circle SMART to Reliance mobile is 0.19 paise per minute, SmART to other mobile is 0.49 paise and SMART to landline Rs.1.19 per minute and all STD Rs.1.99 per minute. Is it correct. Sometime I noticed that this is wrong.

RIM prepaid, sabse mahanga prepaid. reliance GSM (SMART) service prepaid me kamaal kar rahi hai. (M-M)_59p,(M-LL)-1.19,STD-1.99, AUR 1650 RV me 1500 ka talk time, vo bhi 6 months ke liye. hai na SMART? BUT RATES VARY AT PLACES ;-)

sir thhere is a rumer in market that like 220 recharge voucher reliance has closed its 440 voucher also and the 440 vouchers are not available in market so are you going to close the unlimited talk facility for prepaid RIM to RIM kindly please inform me about that.

I am having Reliance FWP. Tata and Reliance are both working on same principles then why is that they are having different criteria for STD calls. A call from Mumbai to any place in Maharashtra is treated as local, then why is that one is not able to make call from Mumbai to any place in Maharashtra without STD facility in Reliance, whereas the same is possible on Tata FWP? When enquired at Customer Care, I am not getting any satisfactory reply, the same is answered that I am not having STD facility.
