RCOM has launched the BlackBerry 8830 that allows interoperability between the CDMA and GSM network to enhance the productivity, the company claims.
Reliance Communications (RCOM) and Research In Motion (RIM) have announced the launch of the BlackBerry wireless platform on a CDMA network in India.
RCOM has launched the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone. The handset allows interoperability between the CDMA and GSM network to enhance the productivity of both enterprises and professionals on the move, the company claims.
The BlackBerry 8830 provides the user with email and messaging, along with premium phone features, Web browsing, and other mobile productivity applications.

at last, RIM met RComm. nice to know that reliance wil be providing blackberry smartphones. i do a lot of surfing on my mobile, checking mails, etc. blackberry will sure make it easier. actually its a long time since reliance launched its first PDA the PPC6700 which was lower on the quality/usability side. availability was an issue.
