Logitech's Pure-Fi Mobile Speakers are intended to transform your low-fidelity mobile phone audio into high-fidelity, stereophonic sound.

If you're one to impose your kind of music on strangers in public places, these might be the wireless speakers for you. Logitech's Pure-Fi Mobile Speakers are intended to transform your low-fidelity mobile phone audio into high-fidelity, stereophonic sound.

Logitech says that if you have a mobile phone with Bluetooth wireless technology along with the Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) profile, you will be able to stream stereo audio through their compact Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system -- up to 33 feet away from your phone.

The speakers feature 2-inches-high excursion drivers and dual 2-inches pressure drivers that could fill spaces like your home, car, or office with some nice bass and smooth treble by means of the music playing through your mobile phone, says the company.

Pure-Fi Mobile Speakers can also be used as wireless speaker phones, says Logitech. The speakers feature two built-in microphones, one to pick up vocal nuances, and the other to block unwanted background noise. The call-answer and call-end controls on top of the speakers let you accept or end calls.

Logitech's speaker system comes with a protective case that can also carry charging cables (power adaptor or mini-USB cable). It bundles rechargeable batteries, which Logitech claims, can give you approximately 12 hours of playing time. These have a battery life indicator as well.

The Pure-Fi Speaker system can be attached to a PC, iPod, or any other MP3 player via Bluetooth or the built-in 3.5 mm audio jack. The speaker system is expected to be available only in the US and in Europe beginning next month for around $150.
