Plustek, one of the global leaders in imaging solutions, has launched its revolutionary network camera, the IPcam P1000A, in India.
Plustek, one of the global leaders in imaging solutions, has launched its revolutionary network camera, the IPcam P1000A, in India.
The company says that the IPcam P1000A camera enables users to watch their premises be it home, office, or operation facility, from anywhere and at anytime.
Besides, users on-the-move can also watch live and recorded video feed from the camera on their laptops, PDAs, and cellphones enabled with Internet connectivity.
Moreover, with the help of this network camera, users can also broadcast live activity videos or product shoot to viewers in real time over a LAN or the Internet.
Speaking on the occasion, Karen Ku, vice president, Plustek, said, "Unlike the traditional CCTV cameras that involve high total cost of ownership, elaborate wiring of the premises, setting up of control rooms and staffing, Plustek's OptiCam P1000A is a great security and surveillance device that works over existing computer networks and can be readily connected to the Internet. Camera functions like brightness, image resolution and quality, sound level, amongst many, can be controlled by the user from anywhere."
