Plustek Unveils IP Cam, P1000A

Plustek, one of the global leaders in imaging solutions, has launched its revolutionary network camera, the IPcam P1000A, in India.
It can be programmed to begin recording at a desired time and time- period. One can also set it to record whenever it detects any motion and stop when there is no activity going on. The system provide a list of the recorded items which can be selected to replay at desired speed, can be copied and converted in various formats that can be searched by time, date references.
Similarly, it can keep track of the free space that can be utilized for recordings. The provision of auto-backup automatically copies recordings in a specified folder on a specified disk at a specified time. It can also record at desired intervals, from 2 images per second to 1 image per hour.
Plustek IPcam P1000A supports up to 5 users simultaneously, however, the number of parallel users can be restricted through password protection. With its own IP address and built-in web server, it connects directly to the computer network and can be remotely accessed from any standard Internet browser.
It also features superior image quality in three different resolutions, VGA - 640 x 480, CIF - 320 x 240, and QSIF - 160 x 120, and can transfer up to 30 frames per second in CIF and QSIF mode.
Meanwhile, the IPcam P1000A is available in India through Plustek's exclusive national distributor TelExcell Information Systems at a price of Rs.7,500 plus taxes respectively with one-year-warranty.
