South Korea-based telecom company Pantech, has launched its first range of GSM phones for the Indian market. The cell phones G300 and G500 will be distributed in the country by First India Mobile Ltd.
Mr. Sanjay Roy, the Managing Director of First India, said, "Both G300 and G500 comes with a dual 260K LCD screen which is first in the Indian market." He further said that 17 service centers have already been ready across the country, while more than 1000 outlets will be ready for the sale of phones.
The G300 is a 900 and 1800 MHz dual-band phone, which has 7-colour crystal illumination and 40 polyphonic ring tones. A company press release states that this phone is mainly targeted towards the cosmopolitan women, owing to its 'lady-like' appearance. It is priced at Rs.13,995.
Model G900 is reportedly the first phone in India with 9 multi-shot digital camera with 4X zoom, dual LCD screen, a flip image rotation of 90-180 degrees. It also has a 310 pixel camera with a built in flash, 64 polyphonic ring tones and a large picture ID display. This phone is mainly targeted towards the 'aristocratic male' and priced at Rs. 25,995.

Actually , the price of these phones are much cheaper than ALL the brands available, comparing the features. Nokia phones in the 13,000 bracket have a 4096 display screen compared to the 260,000 display screen. Even the 6600 has only 65,500 colors. And clam shell phones do cost more than normal phones as they have a dual display. Also no phone in India has a dual color display ,in fact no phone has even 260000 color display either.

the price what u have specified is wrong. its still more in dubau. Also as stated the phone is well suited for women only. the easy functions of nokia can't be compared with any other brands in the world. i bought this g500 but not satisfied with the flexibility of menus. So guys if u want to present to any lady better buy it same as what i did(presented it to my wife)
