Panasonic Intros Water Proof Phone

On the one hand, Apple has recently unveiled its 3G iPhone, and now, Panasonic has launched its water-proof mobile phone, the 3G Tropical 823P, which is touted as the first of its kind.
The Tropical 823P is a clamshell-type phone that measures about 50mm by 108mm by 17.6mm and features a 3-inches QVGA display, 2 mega pixels camera, and support for GPS, 3G HSDPA, and Bluetooth.
There isn't much dope on the water-proof feature yet. The last we heard was the phone will be launched in Japan via Softbank Mobile by end June (what the heck, we're already on the 30th).
