Palm has introduced the Palm TX Handheld, which the company maintains, will provide affordable Wi-Fi access to professionals on-the-go.
The Palm TX Handheld features integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technologies, and a large high-resolution 320x480 color screen. Bluetooth offers users of Palm TX, the freedom of connecting without cables, to a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Palm's TX Handheld is an improvement to the overall Wi-Fi experience, with features such as, a 3-step setting up of new network connections, automatic connection to compatible networks, and added scanning ability.
The 312MHz processor in the Palm TX handheld, enables mobile professionals to enjoy photos, songs and video clips on-the-move. The bundled Pocket Tunes allows users to create and edit play lists, shuffle songs, and navigate by artist, genre or album.
The Palm TX incorporates an expansion card slot, for MultiMediaCard, SD and SDIO formats. The DataViz Documents To Go feature, allows users to view, edit and create Word and Excel compatible files, and view and edit PowerPoint files.
Even if the Palm TX Handheld is not charged, or the power runs down, the 128MB non-volatile flash memory protects users' documents and information. Especially with new mobile applications such as Avvenu, Palm TX users can view, download and share their media and documents.
Palm says that with its Palm TX Handheld customers can browse the web; check e-mail; download documents plus media; send photos wirelessly; work with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync; synchronize outlook contacts, calendar, tasks and memos; and generally stay connected at work, home or on the road.
Paul Blinkhorm, vice president, Palm Asia Pacific, said, "The Palm TX handheld speaks directly to what our customers want - fast, integrated wireless access, a large color screen and 128MB of memory - all in a sleek and professional form factor. This is the wireless device customers have been waiting for. There is no other handheld on the market today with the same capabilities, at the same affordable price."
The Palm TX handheld is available at select retail stores and sellers, for a recommended retail price of Rs 17,500.

I have a Palm TX which is one year used but in perfect condition with 2 GB card. I expect approx Rs. 12k for this. There are no scratch etc at all.

hi, i got an used Palm TX. was perfectly working till the screen got damaged.. i tried getting the screen replaced but couldn't find it anywhere near here.. you might find it in mumbai.. so if you are willing to repair the screen yourself and use it you could take my palm..i will give you a good bargain..

why do we have to pay so much from rest of the world if you get it in usa or some other countries it will only cost u 12000 Rs. but now i need to make a relative abroad.
