Lian-Li has launched the PC-XB01 chassis replacement for the Xbox 360. The XB01 is expected to alleviate component heating issues and quieter optical drive performance. Installing the PC-XB01 requires DIY knowledge to the transfer of components.

With dimensions of 160 x 250 x 415, the XB01 has 120mm fan, like the ones used in PC cabinets, with 1500RPMs for silent cooling using the huge aluminum air ducts. The case also supports water-cooling with pipe holes. The power transformer has to be attached from the outside since the chassis is designed to fit the Xbox 360 internals.

The optical drive bay comes with dust covers and is walled with foam to act as shock absorber for optical drive vibration.
