Now Windows Live Services on Blackberry

To access Windows Live accounts, users will need to simply enter their Windows Live email address and password (once) on their Blackberry.
In a nod to the long-standing partnership between Microsoft and Research in Motion (RIM), the former has announced availability of Windows Live services (hotmail and Messenger) on Blackberry smart phones, beginning this summer -- with support for multiple languages.
Blackberry users will now be able to access hotmail and Windows Live Messenger on their device. To access Windows Live accounts, users will need to simply enter their Windows Live email address and password (once) on their Blackberry. They will be able to use push technology for automatic message delivery and synchronization. With a dedicated in-box, they can have hotmail messages automatically delivered to their Blackberry, else they can receive hotmail messages along with messages from other email accounts within a single in-box. Users will also be able to view graphics, Web links, and photos as part of HTML email. With Windows Live Messenger, Blackberry users will be able to send instant messages, join group chats, set/customize status messages, save conversations, send and receive files, and all of that.
All said, this is Microsoft's third deal to offer hotmail and messenger on the mobile platform. First, it started offering Windows Live services on Windows mobile phones, then on Nokia Series 60 phones, and now on RIM Blackberry devices.
