For the E71 and E66, the upgrade brings in updates to Mail for Exchange software and email wizard

That Nokia Software Updater software installed on your computer might be the most used software right now, thanks to Nokia who has decided to roll out updates for quite a few of their handsets.

Thats correct. After the firmware update for the N97 arrived, its now turn of the E-Series device to get the update treatment. So, we have the E71, E66 and the E51 getting brand new updates. For the E71 and E66, the upgrade to version 300.21.012 brings in updates to Mail for Exchange software and email wizard. It also adds Internet Radio some widgets. There is said to be a marginal performance improvement as well.

As for the E51, the firmware version has graduated to version 400.34.011. It brings with it "improvements and increased stability in Mail for Exchange and SMS reception" as Nokia puts it. The update is available for select regions only and it might take a while for users from all regions to get the notification.

dont know whether it fixes the bluetooth modem stability or not?? the E71 dialup modem is very unstable, drops connections every while, never worked for more than 5 minutes constantly. maybe this update fixes that. but the last update was useless, rather made the fone stable during applications usage. now i am using BB Storm- trying to access net on mobile and tethering without BB services. crackberry helps.

updated the E71, connected to the net, online from 9 minutes, no connection hang. i think they fixed the bluetooth modem bug. before update it never worked for more than 2 minutes of connecting.
