Epson claims the EMP-6110 and EMP-6010 have a longer lamp life, better airflow, and more.
Epson has launched upgraded models of its two ceiling-mounted projectors. These promise superior dust and smoke resistance, and feature longer lamp life and pre-failure alert.
The EMP-6110 and EMP-6010 use a lamp that lasts 1.4 times longer as compared to conventional lamps. With a lamp life of 4,000 hours (in low-brightness mode), users can get the same performance with less downtime. Users need not remove the projector from the ceiling mount for changing the lamp.
The EMP-6110 features a practical direct power-on and power-off function; it is automatically activated and ready for use when the power plug is switched on.
The new projectors come equipped with a new Air Filter Cleaning notification. This function alerts users via an on-screen warning when it is time to clean or replace the air filter. There is also a LED indictor on the projector that serves the same purpose. Further, the two models secure their air intake with an electrostatically-charged air filter to trap dust and smoke particles. The company also claims that the spacious and "intelligent" internal layout guides the flow of air within the projector for efficient cooling.
For protection against theft and unauthorised use, the projectors integrate physical as well as software security features. They have an inbuilt "security bar" to secure the projector to ceiling mountings. Other enhanced security features include power-on protect, user logon protect, and timer protect.
The EMP-6010 and EMP-6110 are priced at Rs 1,42,700 and Rs 2,06,900 respectively.

When they make a projector that is ready to work in an instant, call me. Most projectors I've seen in companies can't even wake up from their sleep mode. Useless things these are. And they can stick it up their behinds for that price.
