Cowon has unveiled a new P5 portable media player with a hairline metal finish body.
The Cowon P5 has 5-inch touchscreen with 800x480px resolution, Widget and Haptic User interface, FM Radio, Bluetooth, photo player, document viewer, USB host and USB 2.0. The player supports popular audio-video formats like MP3, WMV, AC3, AVI, ASF, WMV, MPG, MPEG4, OGM, DivX and Xvid. Audiophiles might be displeased since this luxury model doesn't support OGG and FLAC music formats.
Weighing 380g, the P5 has 138.8 x 88.5 x 20.0 mm dimensions. Running on RMI Alchemy AU1250 700 MHz CPU, the player uses WiFi USB stick for connecting to the Internet and uses Windows CE browser. The player is available in platinum, black and red colors with 40GB, 60GB and 80GB storage options.
