Motorola has today announced a limited luxury edition of its new RAZR2 in India. What's different about the phone is that the signature RAZR2 form factor is now bathed in gold and clothed in snake-like skin, and comes with a full suite of features and accessories targeted at the fashion-conscious, as Motorola claims.
The ultra-slim (12.05mm) special edition RAZR2 sports elegant 18K and 24K gold-plated accents showcasing a luminous, black slate, vacuum metal finish; soft-touch back embossed with snake skin-like texture; and details including elegant pin stripes on the CLI lens, an engraved diamond-cut pattern on the sideband, and linear etching on the navigation wheel.
Good looks apart, the special edition RAZR2 comes with a large, color external display with touch-sensitive music controls, picture caller ID, album art, self-portrait camera display, etc; Motorola CrystalTalk technology and quad-band technology for clearer calls; Opera Mobile Browser 8.5 for more intuitive Web surfing; 2 mega pixels camera with 8x digital zoom; up to 2 hours video capture and playback; up to 2GB on-board storage; and Windows Media Player 11 support.
It bundles along a special edition black slate Motorola H680 Bluetooth headset that promises around 8 hours of clear talk time and eight days of standby time; matching snake-skin texture carrying case with leather mini strap; and polishing cloth.
The RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition is available at all Motostores and premium retail outlets across the country for a best buy price of Rs 25,999 (MRP Rs 27,440).
