The UPS has features like non-interruptible power supply with battery discharge protection and automatic voltage regulation that helps to regulate input and output voltage.
Moser Baer, known as an optical storage manufacturer, yesterday announced the launch of its 600VA UPS in the market.
The UPS has features like non-interruptible power supply with battery discharge protection and automatic voltage regulation that helps to regulate input and output voltage. According to Moser Baer, the automatic voltage regulator ensures that workstations work in normal mode without using batteries.
The new UPS also gives full discharge, over charge, and over load protection. Apart from line surge protection, it also has communication interface that helps in securing shutdown of the system. The battery backup time is claimed to be more than fifteen minutes while recharge time is claimed to be five to six hours.
The 600VA UPS is priced at Rs 2,500, and comes along with a two-years warranty plus a one-year warranty on the battery. It enjoys on-site customer service.
