New MSI Classic series notebooks clad in Intel Arrandale processors and few models bearing ATI graphics were spotted on the company's official website. Two 15.6-inch laptops, CX620 and CR620, were included in the lineup with one of them sporting ATI Mobility Radeon graphics.

The new CR620 and CX620 laptops come packed with Intel Core i5 processor and Windows 7 Home Premium. These 15.6-inch widescreen HD displays support 16:9 aspect ratio in 1366x768 pixel resolution. The CR620 laptop offers an option to choose between Core i3 or i5 processor and pair it with Intel HM55 chipset.

Both laptops support up to 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory and up to 500GB SATA HDD. Out of these, the CX620 laptop comes with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 discrete graphics cards with 1GB dedicated video memory. MSI has also packed Super Multi optical drive for watching movies and burning data on optical media.

Other features of the laptops include a 1.3 megapixel built-in webcam, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, 4-in-1 MMC reader, D-Sub port, HDMI out, two speakers, LAN port, headphone out and three USB 2.0 ports. Both laptops have same features but the difference lies in the graphics housed in CX620 model.

Coated with exclusive MSI's Color Film Print coating with cross-hatch design will surely resist putting scratches on the laptop body. Both laptops feature chiclet keyboard and a classic seamless touchpad for smoother usage. For power management without disrupting performance, MSI has added GPU Boost technology that enables high-efficiency discrete display mode for maximum video and audio performance. But in case one needs to conserve battery life, one button press can switch modes for saving some battery juice.

Both these C-series laptops feature MSI ECO Engine Power saving technology that offers five power management working modes - Gaming, Movies, Presentation, Word Processing and Turbo Battery. These modes are intended during name specific tasks and extend the battery life of the laptops by adjusting screen brightness.

The CR620 is available in India for Rs. 37,999 and the CX620 will cost you Rs. 46,999.
