Electronic Arts and DICE's multi-award winning game Mirror's Edge based on free-running sport will now arrive for iPhone platform as well. EA Mobile announced that the iPhone version of Mirror's Edge will arrive as early as next month. This game will take players in third person perspective unlike the first person experience on the gaming consoles and PC.
Mirror's Edge for iPhone stars in third person perspective stars Faith Connors. The game promises 14-levels of free-running fun on the roof tops. Swapping to 3D perspective, the game looks nice with pleasing 3D graphics and the slide-scrolling controls. EA has already placed Mirror's Edge 2D Flash game online.
Joystiq reported that DICE lighting artist Oscar Carlen had listed two upcoming titles - Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefield 3 in his online portfolio and later pulled down the info. Earlier this year, EA's COO John Pleasants had confirmed that Battlefield 3 is under development.
Mirror's Edge was released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in November 2008 and for PC earlier this year.
