Microsoft India has unveiled its 2007 range of high-end input devices, including mice, keyboards, lifecams, and headsets.

Commenting on the launch, Mohit Anand, Country Manager of the Entertainment and Devices Division, Microsoft India, said, "Our singular aim is to provide a superlative PC experience to the performance-driven PC user who wants to derive maximum value from the input devices he or she uses at work, home, or on the go. We also take pride in sharing our entry into Integrated Communication Experience products like Webcams and Headsets, giving our users richer communication experiences."

The input devices launched include: a 'four-in-one' mouse, Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000, Microsoft Habu, 'high quality still photography' LifeCam NX-6000, and Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, amongst others.

The Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 functions as a Bluetooth laser notebook mouse, slide presenter, laser and digital pointer, and media remote.

This mouse features Microsoft's High Definition Laser Technology, which delivers more responsiveness, more precision, and smoother tracking. The 8000 also includes the popular Magnifier tool and Tilt Wheel, plus the new Instant Viewer feature that allow users to instantly view all open windows for added organization and productivity.

Microsoft Habu is at best the combination of Microsoft's award-winning mouse design with Razer's gaming features, the result being the ultimate gaming mouse. A 2,000 DPI laser engine and always-on laser gives gamers ultimate control, along with a near-zero response time. Habu comes with a thin, flexible, wire and a gold-plated USB connector, granting superior conductivity with minimum response time.

The LifeCam NX-6000 is a wired, notebook Web cam that fully integrates with Microsoft Windows Live Messenger to deliver a suite of features that make Web video calling simple, natural, and seamless. Microsoft's first notebook Web cam sports a High Definition 2.0 megapixel video sensor, and delivers the highest-quality still photography available (7.6 megapixels interpolated).

The Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 sports an elevated thumb scoop and a rounded shape - making for a more relaxed curve of the fingers so as to reduce finger extension.

This five-button wireless mouse has a Tilt Wheel for smooth four-way scrolling, an Instant Viewer to display all open windows at the touch of a button, and a Magnifier tool that makes it easy to enlarge and edit screen details.

The 6000 too features Microsoft's High Definition Laser Technology, which delivers more responsiveness, more precision, and smoother tracking.

The new input devices are attractively priced, ranging from Rs 2,010 to Rs 10,570; and are available via Microsoft's reseller network across the country.
