Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear series, has brought the veteran Solid Snake out to combat on Metal Gear's fourth installment with smooth movements, crisp graphics, and cinematic environment.
Kojima Productions' much awaited third-person stealth action game, Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4) for PlayStation 3 was finally launched on June 12 midnight in Japan. Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear series, has brought the veteran Solid Snake out to combat on Metal Gear's fourth installment with smooth movements, crisp graphics, and cinematic environment.
In MGS4, gamers will play as Solid Snake. The story is framed in the year 2014 after the Plant Chapter of Metal Gear Solid 2. The scene portrays a world where Liquid Ocelot operated company "Outer Haven's" five private militaries fight proxy wars for their own business motives. The chief motive is take control for expanding prominence of nanotechnology. These militaries can freely combat on any foreign land. Solid Snake is again deployed on an assignment, where the world is at crisis due to Liquid's evil objective for launching an armed insurrection for controlling the Sons of the Patriots who exist in the private military companies as the nanos.
Snake's missions are spread across five different locations. Revamped gameplay concepts stimulate Close Quarter Combat System with new improved and modified devices like the OctoCamo (environment patterns and color capturer device), and also cinematic cut scenes to bridge the relativity gap between MGS4 and previous installments.

LOOK PS3'S ARE A BETTER CONSOLE ! I HAD 4 360S YES THERE ARE GOOD BUT NOT BETTER . EVEN THE MAIN DESIGNER SAYS THE 360 HAS MAJOR FAULTS AND THAT ITS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Im glad my 360 broke down on me. It took 2 months to get it fixed and i sold it just to get a ps3 for MGS4. PS3 sh*ts on xbox.

I have always been a ps man until last year when i purchased a 360 as the ps2 was obsolite, i am now in the process of saving for a ps3 console and should be done end of the month, my sole reasoning for this ps3 transfer is METAL GEAR SOLID 4 i think others should do the same especially pc gamers
