Max Secure Software has unveiled the Max Spyware Detector 2.0.

The company claims that the Max Spyware Detector 2.0 can improve detection of spyware by using smart scan proprietary technology that modifies how a computer is scanned, helping reduce scan time by up to 20 minutes during the second and subsequent scans.

On this occasion, Sanjay Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Max Secure Software, said, "Consumers have been asking for an anti-spyware product that can detect spyware, and doesn't take all day to do it. Before Max Spyware Detector was available, consumers were spending an average of 25 or more minutes waiting for their anti-spyware product to do its job, but now as a result of Max Spyware Detector, we've been able to cut consumers scan time down to only a few minutes at the longest."

Pradhan added, "Max Secure Software employs a dedicated database team, which uses state-of-the-art spyware research methods to identify and resolve new spyware threats before they are widely distributed. Max Spyware Detector 2.0 ensures that you have the most powerful and up-to-date protection against new emerging spyware threats."

Max Spyware Detector 2.0 has advanced blocking features, and blocks ActiveX, browser header objects, and tracking cookies. Customers can also block bad Web sites or Web sites they feel are not worth browsing. Max Spyware Detector 2.0 protects customer privacy, protecting customers against malicious processes, homepage hijackers, and tracking cookies. The product provides advanced and comprehensive cleaning technology for special spywares, which are formidable next-generation spyware threats.

Customers purchasing Max Spyware Detector will get immediate access to Max Secure Software s technical support force. The company's technical experts and support team is available to answer any questions customers might have at no cost.

Meanwhile, the retail cost for one license of Max Spyware Detector 2.0 costs around $29.95 (Rs 1,350) for a one year subscription, which includes a 30-day money back guarantee. Max Spyware Detector 2.0 is available now, and supports operating systems including Windows 98 SE, 2000, Me, and XP.

Paying 1300 for a antispyware application is not worth it and that too for a one year subscription. Instead we can aswell use the numerous free antispyware applications. As for the time taken to scan its not a big constriant.
