Mobile and Wireless group (MWg) has announced their entry into the Indian mobile market. They have rolled out two Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional based handsets -- Atom V and Zinc II.
Mobile and Wireless group (MWg) has announced their entry into the Indian mobile market. They have rolled out two Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional based handsets -- Atom V and Zinc II. After O2 declared sort of a retirement, it seems like the company is trying to regain its popularity with a touch screen candybar Atom V and slider model Zinc II.
Atom V has 2.8 inch TFT QVGA touch screen display with a 240x320 resolution, 2.0 Megapixel CMOS Auto-Focus camera, Intel XScale 520 MHz processor, 64MB SDRAM, 265MB Flash ROM, MicroSD expandable memory (up to 8 GB), and a 1,300mAh Li-Polymer battery offering talk time up to 3.5 hours, claims MWg. It supports Quadband GSM, 3.5G HSDPA, WCDMA, EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11b+g), and Bluetooth for connectivity along with inbuilt SiRF Star III GPS receiver for GPS navigation.
On the other hand, the QWERTY-based slider Zinc II has a 2.8 TFT QVGA touch screen display with 240 X 320 resolution, 2.0 Megapixel CMOS Auto-Focus camera with 4x zoom, Samsung 2442 processor clocked at 500 MHz, 64MB SDRAM, and 256MB NAND Flash ROM.
