MSI has made an addition to its X-Slim ultraporable series of notebooks with the new X430. This time, MSI has dropped the Intel consumer ultra lower voltage processors and packed dual-core AMD Athlon Neo X2 processor inside. This ultraportable X-430 notebook comes with Windows 7 Home Premium.
MSI X430 features dual-core AMD Athlon Neo X2 processor paired with AMD RS780MN chipset with SB710 southbridge. The 14-inch LED Backlit display supports 1366x768 pixel resolution and cinematic HD playback in 16:9 aspect ratio. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 takes care of clear HD graphics and also supports DirectX 10 used in recently available games.
This ultra-portable notebook supports up to 2GB DDR2 667MHz memory and 500GB SATA HDD for storage. Wireless connectivity is taken care of with support for 802.11 b/g/n standards. Other features of this notebook include built-in 1.3MP webcam, two USB 2.0 port, D-sub port and HDMI out. MSI offers option of external DVD super-multi drive or Blu-ray drive.
