Billed as a strong competitor to Asus' Eee PC, the "Wind Notebook" promises the simplest of operation with no compromise on computer functions.
MSI's "Wind Notebook", first unveiled at this year's CeBit 2008, will be coming to the Indian market around mid-June. Billed as a strong competitor to Asus' Eee PC, the "Wind Notebook" promises the simplest of operation with no compromise on computer functions.
The "Wind Notebook" weighs around 1kg, says MSI, and packs an 8.9-inches and a 10-inches LCD screen with 1,024 x 768 resolution, a 2.5-inches 80GB standard hard drive, plus Microsoft's Windows XP operating system. The notebook is said to be powered by Intel's newest 'Atom' processor clocking speeds between 1GHz and 1.5GHz, and comes with 1GB of RAM (the Eee PC comes with 512MB DDR2 memory).
Despite its small form factor, MSI claims the "Wind Notebook" features increased space between its keyboard keys for additional comfort. The notebook also enjoys a longer batter life, according to MSI.

It includes 80gb hdd and 512mb ram, I m not sure about the screen size if its 8.9 or 10 inches but its a 1024 x 600 which is like decent if u get it for 399(same as asus eee in india) So I guess its bye bye eee and hello wind....
