Daniel Borel, co-founder and chairman introduced Logitech's latest line of laptop cordless peripherals at a fashion show that started with models sashaying down the ramp with Logitech's latest line of laptop peripherals. The other cordless devices were Bluetooth mobile phone headsets, iPod peripherals, gaming devices and cordless desktops.
Borel said, "Computing doesn't need to tie us down. Cordless computing offers a great deal of flexibility and unrestricted freedom. Logitech has been the 'last inch' between human and technology for more than a decade now. Now cordless technology itself is enabling us to be closer to users."
The basket of products launched by Logitech comprised cordless keyboads and mice, gaming devices, mobile and MP3 headsets.
The company launched the Freedom 2.4 GHz Cordless Joystick and Cordless Rumblepad. With Logitech's 2.4 GHz cordless radio frequency technology, the Freedom 2.4 GHz Cordless Joystick allows gamers to sit more than 20 feet away.
The Logitech Cordless RumblePad is the first 2.4 GHz radio technology cordless gamepad for the PC platform. A 50-hour battery life, coupled with 20-feet or more of range, provides a solution for gamers.
The Logitech MX 3000 Cordless Desktop, Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 Media Remote and Logitech diNovo Bluetooth Cordless Desktop also launched, have ergonomic advantages such as Zero Degree Tilt, lower keyboard height and two-handed navigation.
The company also launched two new mobile phone Bluetooth headsets - Logitech Mobile Traveler Headset and Logitech Mobile Express Headset. The Mobile Traveler headset also includes WindStop technology, to ensure clear conversations even in windy conditions.
Logitech also announced new members in its line of notebook mice, the V400 Laser Cordless Mouse for Notebooks with All Terrain Laser Technology, the V200 Cordless Notebook Mouse and the Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse.
