Limited Utility Apps No Good for Apple App Store

Apple is looking for maximum utility to its broad user base when it accepts applications to the App Store.
If you're an apps developer for the iPhone or iPod Touch, make sure that your next creation will provide utility to the varied users of these gadgets. Well, if you don't, your application may just be rejected by Apple, which means that it will not be included in the hallowed Apps store.
An app called Pull My Finger was recently rejected by Apple and the developer received the following email from Apple, which explains the reason for rejection - Limited Utility!
Hello Developer,
We've reviewed your application Pull My Finger. We have determined that this application is of limited utility to the broad iPhone and iPod Touch user community, and will not be published to the App Store.
It may be very appropriate to share with friends and family, and we recommend you review the Ad Hoc method on the Distribution tab of the iPhone Developer Portal for details on distributing this application among a small group of people of your choosing.
