A new 50-inch Plasma TV coming from LG. Dubbed as PG6900, it will come equipped with a built-in 160GB hard disk drive (HDD) capable of holding up to 86 hours of programming.
The hard drive can hold around 48 hours of full quality programmes and around 86 hours of standard quality programmes.
The PG6900 will also feature a twin HD digital tuner, electronic program guides, timer record function for versatile PVR (Personal Video Recorder) like function and Freeview Playback that will allow users to pause, slow or rewind live TV, writes gizmag.
Additionally, this 50-inch plasma TV comes with a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.001ms response time, 3 HDMI, 100Hz refresh rate and integrated speakers (apparently invisible). There is no word on availability but it will be priced about $1,799.
