8 MP LG Viewty GC 900 Comes to India

LG has finally taken the wraps of the much awaited Viewty GC 900 8 megapixel handset in India. The GC 900 incorporates LG's new 3D S-Class User Interface and has an on screen camera mode selector dial.

Being a camera centric device, the phone comes with a plethora of options that include Light sensitivity up to ISO 1600 and a power LED flash. LG, like Nokia with the N86 8 megapixel seems to have given Xenonflash the miss. As for the screen, you should have no complaints about the large WVGA touchscreen which makes it a perfect device to watch your DivX or Xvid movies on-the-go. The GC900 is quite thin for what it packs in. Weighing just 102 grams, this phone also happens to be quite thin at 12.4mm. The lack of Xenon flash has obviously helped the GC900 retain its rather slim dimensions.

The GC 900 will compete against a formidable line up that includes the likes of the Sony Ericsson W995, the Nokia N86 8 megapixel, Samsung Pixon for the title for the 8 megapixel crown. LG Viewty Smart is priced at Rs. 27,500 and available across retail outlets now. It's raining 8 megapixel phones! Looks like we need to have an 8 megapixel shoot out here on Techtree soon!
