If you are a watch freak and also happen to be a fan of ultra rare gadgets, this might just interest you. The LG GD910 watch phone looks like a normal watch - except for the fact that it can double up as your mobile phone when needed.

That's right. Tthe GD910 LG's latest watch phone has been launched in India. It is quite thin at just 13.9mm and packs in 3G and Video Calling capabilities as well. The phone is quite stylish and the front fascia is covered by scratch-proof tempered glass. It comes with a Bluetooth headset so you don't have to keep talking like David Hasselhoff talked to his super-car KITT in the "Knight Rider" series.




The LG watch phone can be all yours for Rs. 49,990 which makes it super expensive - even for an ultra sci-fi esque gadget like this.

Hmmmm I am ready to but it for not more than 7k. Company has to bring price down in order to sell it in profit. Otherwise not more than 500-1000 units would sell. Competitors would also show some propaganda like this. Hope you got the point.

Why would anybody buy a watch that has mobile phone? All the mobile phones have watch inside them? Seems.... they need to rethink...

It seems the next step. We all tend to use mobile phones as watch but have to carry the mobile in pocket or hold in hand. Instead if you have a watch that works as mobile, and bluetooth headset, you will walk handsfree, have one less device to carry. I think if you have a wrist strap that can hold your iphone firmly, you may replace the watch cheaper than the LG watch

The only difficulty of this phone would be the need to bend your arms/wrist in an unnatural position to talk or hear !!!!Especially for those who spend hours in talking they are sure to get a 'tennis elbow' :-)
