Kodak Expands EasyShare Line

Kodak has introduced four new digital cameras to its EasyShare series, including the 7MP dual-lens V705, the 8MP C875, the 7.1MP C743, and the 4MP C433.
Kodak has reportedly introduced four new digital cameras to its EasyShare product line, including the 7MP dual-lens V705, the 8MP C875, the 7.1MP C743, and the 4MP C433.
The company says all four models feature Secure Digital slots for expansion, and are PictBridge-enabled.
Speaking at the occasion, Mary Hadley, general manager - digital still cameras, consumer digital imaging group, Kodak, said, "As a leader in the digital camera marketplace, Kodak once again surpasses the competition by designing innovative and powerful ultra-compact cameras."
"Kodak continues to raise-the-bar by providing picture takers with the tools to create high-quality photos, enhancing the overall digital photography experience," Hadley said.
Out of the four, the EasyShare V705 model is of 4.4 ounce, and features a 7MP sensor, 5X optical zoom, 2.5-inch LCD display, anti-blur technology, 22 scene modes, 3 color modes, 32MB of built-in memory, as also the ability to capture VGA video at 30fps (frames per second). The camera can also capture a 180-degree panoramic picture with just three shots.
The second model, the 6.2 ounce EasyShare C875, features an 8MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, 2.5-inch LCD display, 32MB of internal memory, and VGA video capture at 30fps.
The other two models, the C743 features a 7.1MP sensor, 3x optical zoom, 32MB of internal memory, and a 2.4-inch LCD screen; while the C433 features a 4MP sensor, 3x optical zoom, 16MB of internal memory, and a 1.8-inch LCD screen.
Meanwhile, the V705 camera will be available world-wide beginning September this year at a price of around 279.99 pounds. The C875 camera will be available world-wide by end August for about 229.99 pounds, while the C743 and C433 cameras will be available starting mid-September, at prices of 149.99 pounds and 89.99 pounds respectively.
