Kingston Technology has today announced its DataTraveler 400 (DT400), a new USB flash drive that comes preloaded with MigoSync data synchronization software, which allows users to work among multiple PCs by directly synchronizing files, email, and Internet browser settings onto the drive.

Speaking at launch, Nitin Malhotra, country manager (India) of Kingston Technology, said, "The DT400 is the perfect solution to keep documents and settings completely up-to-date and in sync. Accessing email and keeping sections of the drive secure through password protection make the DT400 a powerful device for anyone to stay safely connected."

With built-in SecureTraveler software, the DT400 allows for creation of a 'Privacy Zone', whereby users can create and maintain password-protected areas of the drive to keep their data safe.

Specifications of the DT400 are listed as: capacities of 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB; data transfer rates of up to 20MB/sec read and 10MB/sec write; enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost on Vista-based systems; hi-speed USB 2.0 compliant; capless design; MigoSync supported email clients; MigoSync supported Internet browsers; SecureTraveler security software for Windows included; Migo operating language in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Thai, Portuguese, and Dutch.
