Direct-to-Home (DTH) player, Tata Sky, in partnership with 24x7guru.com, online provider of diagnostic and self-assessment tools, will now offer interactive learning on television.

Under the association, 24x7guru.com will provide online content for Tata Sky's 'Actve Learning', which is a quiz-based educational program encompassing Maths, General Knowledge, and Science for children between 7- and 11- years of age.

K S Muralidhar, chief executive officer of Learnsmart India, explained that television can be an extremely powerful teaching tool, and has the potential to touch every aspect of the academic curriculum. The new service is intended to motivate students to use Broadcast technology to complement their learning effort.

Meanwhile, Vikram Mehra, chief marketing officer of Tata Sky, said their partnership with 24x7guru.com only reiterates their commitment towards providing value added services to subscribers in the field of education.

WOW! it's a great partnership. THis program will help to motivate the students to use broadcast technology not just to entertain them but also to complement their efforts to become scholastically successful.

What is the medium of instruction? English? Us at TN need something in Tamil, if available. Any chance? How does it mesh with SBS or CBS curricula?
