Logitech has announced a game-controller that helps gamers' hands stay cool for those intense gaming sessions.
Those intense game sessions holding your game-controller will no longer leave you sweating profusely. The days of palm-perspiring sessions at gaming are numbered with Logitech announcing an interesting game-controller to keep your hands cool and dry while you're at it. It's called the Logitech ChillStream controller for PC.
The ChillStream controller is a plug-and-play, full-speed USB device that finds itself compatible with Windows XP computers (with the latest service pack), and with Windows Vista. It features a floating D-pad, which uses 4 points of contact instead of a single pivot point. This design helps avoid side-to-side tipping that is inherent in other controllers.
Wondering how it works? The ChillStream game-controller comes with a built-in fan-based cooling system, designed to cool the gamers' hands and thereby keep them dry while engaged in extreme competition. There's a metal grille that covers the air intake at the base of the controller.
