Intel Core i7 Details Emerge

Core i7 processors, aka Nehalem, will run at speeds up to 3.2GHz, and sell for as much as $999, come November
Reports coming in today indicate that the recently announced Intel Core i7, codenamed Nehalem, are likely to hit the market as early as November of this year. While Intel did not reveal specification details on their Core i7 processor range, back when they made the announcement, today also brings details on the same:
Apparently in November, one can expect Core i7 processor models -- 920 (mainstream), 940 (performance) and 965 (extreme) at clock speeds of 2.66GHz, 2.93GHz and 3.2GHz respectively. Each of these models will have 8MB shared L3 cache, 256kb L2 cache per core and Thermal Design Power of 130W. The mainstream Core i7 920 model is expected to be priced at $284, performance 940 at $562 and extreme edition 965 model at $999.
