Hands-on With Nokia E63

Poor man's E71
Within 24 hours of it being announced, a mobile freak managed to get his hands on a red trial unit of Nokia E63. An affordable smartphone, E63 is a non-luxury version of E71 without the good quality camera, HSDPA, infrared port, and GPS.
Marc Obermann, the gentleman who got his hands-on experience on the trial or pre-production unit, mentions in his preview that the phone has a black ribbon on the sides that divides the front panel from the back. The phone took about 24 seconds to boot up the first time and didn't show any lag after adding calendar events, Push Email, etc. The 3.5mm jack in E63 adds up to its flaunt value and pleases music lovers with the flexibility to hook up to headphones of their choice.
Consumers now can make a choice between E71 and E63 and decide on whether they want a better metal-based build, a good camera, HSDPA, and GPS or whether they want to compromise on these features and buy the affordable E63.
