HTC Touch Dual features HTC TouchFLO gesture recognition technology, with the added ability to view photo slide shows using on-screen controls.
Riding on the success of its HTC Touch, HTC Corp has launched the HTC Touch Dual that sports a sliding keypad design and 3.5G wireless connectivity among others.
Like the HTC Touch, the HTC Touch Dual features HTC TouchFLO gesture recognition technology, with the added ability to view photo slide shows using on-screen controls plus zoom-in and rotate images with just a hand.
TouchFLO technology enables enhanced finger touch scrolling and browsing of Web pages, documents, messages, and contact lists.
Salient features of the HTC Touch Dual include: a robust Qualcomm MSM7200 chip running at 400MHz, and Windows Mobile software.
Apart from the HTC Touch Dual, HTC has also announced an additional color variant and a free full-screen virtual keypad for the original HTC Touch.
The HTC Touch Dual is available at leading retail outlets for Rs 29,900.

Hi anyone interested in my 1 week old HTC S710. With original Box + bill. I haven't even taken the screen cover off yet. I bought it for 14500. A friend is bringing an iPhone for me [:)] And @sharath: Where did u get Touch for 16k, when i asked last week it was over 17.

hey the htc touch is 16200 in chennai...its an amazing phone except for 3G everything is amazing....keeping in the mind the minor flaws in iphone touch is a lot better.

Hi, this is Rahul here from Pune, I have been looking for the same, what i can tell you is that the same is NOT available at Alfa Store in Mumbai, and if it is not available there it is unlikely that the same will be available in Mumbai!! He has asked me to try again after about 15 - 20 days...but sounds unlikely. Do let me know if you have any updates...best bet...get it from abroad through someone..

It does not have wireless. Just an addition of 3g and a keypad and minus wireless to htc touch, 29900 is a touch expensive when compared to 16000 to the touch....

Well, I have been spoilt by my old KJAM. I cant work with any phone without a full querty keyboard. I bought it 2 years ago for a whooping 37000 when it was just introduced (iMate), and I just have everything I need from it for the forseeable future.

Ok, I must confess that it needs a better screen. I have been waiting forever for the Ultimate series. Just doesnt seem to come up. Till then Ive got my trusty old Dell Axim 50v for reading books. I use a bluetooth GPS device with the KJam. WM5 Still rocks, nothing too great about WM6. The Touch does have a better screen than the older QVGA models like KJam.

Disappointing price. I was expecting it to be available for 21000 compared to the 17000 for the Touch. Is the official TOUCH 256/128 selling for 16200 with Bill and warranty at Chennai ? It must be the old 128/64 version. I am told that the 128/64 is now available for around 14000 here at Mumbai. The official 256/64 version is available for 17000 in Alfa at Irla, Mumbai and 17500 at most other stores.
